On May 20 it was officially announced that Bangladesh has surpass India in terms of GDP per capita. For the fiscal year 2020-2021 the per capita GDP of Bangladesh in nominal terms stood up at 2227$ up from 2064$ in 2019 which is an Increase of 9% a very good achievement. Meanwhile India which was ahead of Bangladesh in 2019 is behind Bangladesh by 2191$.
