Bangladesh outpaced India in Per Capita Income | South Asia news | | Case Study on "Has Bangladesh really became rising star Of South Asia" | Is Indian dominance in Indian Subcontinent decreasing |

On May 20 it was officially announced that Bangladesh has surpass India in terms of GDP per capita.

For the fiscal year 2020-2021 the per capita GDP of Bangladesh in nominal terms stood up at 2227$ up from 2064$ in 2019 which is an Increase of 9% a very good achievement. Meanwhile India which was ahead of Bangladesh in 2019 is behind Bangladesh by 2191$.

Reality Check: Case Study-

In this article I have not made any comments to the GDP growth because I have little knowledge regarding that I am just made an article regarding Bangladesh replacing India as the giant part in South Asia.

First of all I would like to tell you about fiscal year of India starts at April and Ends on March every year. So 12 months are divided in 4 quarters. Indian GDP (nominal) saw seen a rise in 3rd and 4th quarter of last fiscal year as Unlock process started but because of -23% Shrink in 1st Quarter our GDP remained contracted by 7.8% on the other hand Bangladesh had a good economic growth overall.

Internationally People started to call Bangladesh as a rising giant of South Asia by replacing India. Recently Bangladesh even gave $ 200 Million Loan to Sri Lanka. So on that topic I have made a case study once have a look.

Following is a Graph showing per-capita GDP of South Asian Countries that too in Nominal GDP.
Going by the trends you can  that Sri Lanka from a long time is way ahead of all South Asian Countries. It's nominal GDP per capita is nearly double that of India and Bangladesh. So going by these trends Sri Lanka should be the So-called Giant power in the Sub-Continent. We all the condition of China and Sri Lanka. But Bangladesh behind Sri Lanka in this calculation had given a clear answer to China during the QUAD issue.

Even Bhutan is way ahead Both the Countries with GDP per capita nearly a little less than 1.5x of India. But we all know upto what extent Bhutan is dependent on India. Reason is very simple Population of Bhutan Is merely 8 lakhs. At that point when India is soon to surpass China in terms of Population with nearly 140 crores of 1400Million.

Now let's see the next trend that is GDP PPP per capita of South Asian Countries.
Here also Bhutan and Sri Lanka are on the top. Those who don't know PPP means Power Purchasing Parity simply it calculates how much do a specific value can make you purchase in a specific area. Like, Rent in Delhi is costlier than Patna. Here India, is ahead Bangladesh and Pakistan. Bangladesh is even behind Pakistan.

*Data, have taken from various sources may vary.

Here you can see that in 1971 in terms of GDP per capita Bangladesh and Pakistan was ahead India.
Above two Data's will Surely help you.
It's per capita Nominal GDP.
Not only that till 2006 Pakistan was ahead India in this per capita format. But it didn't make Pakistan dominant over India. And till 2019 India was ahead Bangladesh as well but due to this covid crisis Net GDP went down but Population remained constant for the year 2020-2021.

#It doesn't mean Bangladesh has done nothing it has surely made huge success in textile industry by surpassing India and regaining the old trade of Textile which is common in both West Bengal and Bangladesh.
After all in 1700's United Bengal alone contributed 12% of World's GDP.

IMF's projections after Second wave of Covid hit India has put India's growth a bit slow.
So by 2026 India will add 1.3 Trillion$ and Bangladesh 171$ in it's economy. But it will put India's per capita at 2729$ and Bangladesh's will stand at 2757$ because of high population rise in India.

#What I think is that India has nothing to loose we just need to work upon the decreasing Economy because First our Growth was projected at 11% which came down to 9.5% because of Second wave of Covid.

One thing we should be proud of is that this year 2021 India became the 5th country along with U.K in the world to cross 3 Trillion Dollar Economy after US,China, Japan, Germany and 3rd to became 10 Trillion Dollar Economy after US and China in terms of PPP.
Here are the two expected Charts.
.                Nominal World GDP
                      PPP World GDP
Here when I have given my views I have made '#'.

Bengal Massacre | Partition | Migration and Refugees | How Two way migration turned into one way completely?

So, Starting with the blog I want to make it clear I don't want to hurt anyone through my blog. Recently MHA Ministry of Home Affair s India invited application from Non-Muslim Migrant s from Pakistan and Bangladesh for Citizenship. Last year due to CAA country witnessed big Protests in National Capital and Riots turning violent on the issue of awarding Citizenship to Migrants on accounts of religion breaking Assam Accord s and giving a new wave to migration. But still tensions of all this cult remain Bengal and not Pakistan, I will tell you why?               P artition of Bengal (1947)             In 1947 India was Partitioned as so was Bengal. In 1947 Bengal represented a Plurarity of Muslims, Idea of joining India, Pakistan or Remaining Independent was Prevalent. So At last the Bengal Legislative decided after 3 rounds of meeting under the then CM Suhrawardy that Bengal to be Partitioned on religious lin...

Case Study on Indian Legion Germany                "Hitler's Indian Soldiers". So, Hey Viewers You all might be Surprised with the title, But it's not a fake one it's all true. This was Recently covered by France 24 English from a few German Soldiers who fought deadly Second World War. So, We all know the Contribution of Subhash Chandra Bose in India's Independence. I will not go much deep into it. Fast forwarding to 1939 Second World War Started with German attack on Poland. Here, in India Congress was itself divided on ideas of Supporting Britishers Against Fascist Regimes. Subhash Bose though an anti-fascist was of view of Pushing British out of India by taking Advantage of World War. So in 1941 he escaped to Kabul from His home arrest at Calcutta. There he got an Italian Passport and a Transit Visa to go Germany via Soviet Union. He reached Berlin in 1941.                 ' Bose with Hitler ....
